working principle
The belt conveyor is mainly composed of two end rollers and a closed conveyor belt tightly sleeved on them. The pulley that drives the conveyor belt to rotate is called a drive pulley (drive pulley); the other pulley that only changes the direction of movement of the conveyor belt is called a redirection pulley. The drive pulley is driven by a motor through a reducer, and the conveyor belt is dragged by the friction between the drive pulley and the conveyor belt. The drive pulleys are generally installed on the discharge end in order to increase traction and be easy to drag. Material is fed on the feed-side and landed on the rotating conveyor belt, then rely on the conveyor belt friction to be delivered to discharge end.
