Compared with the commonly used compound fertilizer manufacturing process, the high tower granulation process has the following advantages:
(1) The direct use of urea or ammonium nitrate melt saves the spray granulation process of urea melt, as well as the packaging, transportation and crushing of solid urea, which simplifies the production process.
(2) The granulation process makes full use of the thermal energy of round molten urea or ammonium nitrate, the moisture content of the material is very low, no drying process is required, and energy consumption is greatly saved.
(3) The percentage of qualified product particles in production is very high, so there is almost no amount of returned materials in the production process.
(4) The operating environment is good, and there is no discharge of three wastes, which is a clean production process.
Working principle of high tower granulation equipment
Solid urea or ammonium nitrate (ammonium nitrate, etc.) becomes molten liquid after heating and melting, and the molten liquid after evaporation and concentration can also be used directly. Add corresponding phosphate fertilizer, potash fertilizer, filler and additives to the molten liquid to make mixed slurry. The mixed slurry is sent to the high-tower granulator for spraying and granulation. The granulated material sprayed into the granulation tower through the granulator interacts with the gas resistance rising from the bottom of the tower during the process of descending from the high-tower. After heat exchange, it falls to the bottom of the tower, and the granular materials falling into the bottom of the tower are screened and surface treated to obtain granular compound fertilizers.
The main equipment includes three parts: one is the tower body. The prilling tower is the main equipment for high-tower granulation to produce granular compound fertilizer. The main function of the prilling tower is to carry out crystallization and cooling heat exchange of compound fertilizer in the tower. The diameter and height of the prilling tower are the main indicators of the equipment, which are closely related to the production capacity and quality of the product. The second is granulation equipment. The granulator can meet the requirements of compound fertilizer granulation for various slurry according to the needs, especially for the granulation of medium and low nitrogen varieties of compound fertilizer, which has very good performance; the third is the reaction kettle. The main function of the mixing reactor is to fully stir and mix the materials in the equipment to achieve the purpose of preparing a mixed slurry with good fluidity.
In addition, pretreatment of raw materials, chelation and addition of various preparations are also effective ways to improve fertilizer efficiency. The mixed slurry prepared after pretreatment of the raw materials has greatly improved viscosity, fluidity and crystallization properties of the slurry, which can better granulate production and improve product quality. Chelation is used to avoid the loss of certain nutrients and adverse side effects during the production process, and to protect important nutrients, improve fertilizer efficiency, and reduce costs.
